We are a conservative evangelical church which seeks to get the message of the gospel to the culture around us as we share the Good News of the death of Jesus on the cross for us. Our aim is to show, as well as speak about, the power of the gospel to change us, and form us into a new community that owns Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
During 1998, a group of Christians from all around Truro began to come together, first for prayer, and then to meet on Sundays. This led to the forming of Truro Evangelical Church, which has, almost from the first days, met at Tregolls School, in the city.
We come from a very long history of men and women who have taken the Bible seriously, because we believe that God has spoken, and that true wisdom is found in what He has said.
